Self Portraits

How do you classify self portraiture created in a photobooth?  Whether it’s photography, vanity, performance or documentary, the booth has celebrated the selfie long before we had a word for it. 

Tyler regularly documents her life through self portraits in the photobooth. These images span a lifetime of photobooth activity, and have been created in booths in London, Chicago, Lincoln, Paris, Manchester and Berlin, amongst others.
